Paignton Zoo, Wildlife, Cafes and Softplay
We have 2 young children in the house, why wouldn't you visit the zoo when its quite literally on your doorstep?
They love it, its our Go To when we don't know what to do and where to go.
Catch the bus in from the many bus stops in and around Paignton Number 22 and it drops you at the zoo door.
Its better if you plan what animals you want to go see in advance so you can map out ones that are close together, if not prepare to walk, you may need the buggy for very small legs.
We usually take a picnic but there is a reasonably priced café if you cannot be bothered, if you let me know the day before you go I can always make one up for you if you are staying with us, we would charge for this service.
If the kids get tired there is a built in soft play building next to the café where you can put your feet up for 5 minutes while the kids are now suddenly not tired anymore and can run around like mad things.
A wonderful day out, informative, friendly, educational and ice cream to finish, but mind the seagulls they are ruthless!
